About

Molly Clarke headshot
For five years I worked in the jewelry industry as a staff gemologist and buyer for a gemstone wholesaler in the Diamond District of New York City. This position granted me the unique opportunity to see the process of jewelry creation from start to finish. I am familiar not only with diamonds and colored gemstones, but also with the metals, settings, and processes involved to create each ring or piece of jewelry.

As for my formal education, I graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) with a Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) degree. I have also taken numerous classes on metalsmithing and jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. In addition, I completed the GIA’s 2011, 2012, and 2013 CERP (Continuing Education Recognition Program), and will be enrolling in their 2014 CERP.
